NEW: I obtained a copy of the email that Skadden executive partner Jeremy London sent to employees of the law firm earlier today. The email details the “agreement” Skadden reached with Trump to avoid being targeted by an executive order.

🤔: Robert Giuffra, co-chair and partner at Sullivan & Cromwell, “liked” this LinkedIn post criticizing Skadden for its deal with Trump. Per NYT, Trump brought Giuffra in to help broker the Paul Weiss deal—and Giuffra has reportedly agreed to rep Trump in his NY criminal appeal.

Enjoyed my conversation with Alex Ryan for Legal Business, reflecting on the early days of Quinn Emanuel, why we chose to remain litigation-only, our decision to take on the world’s biggest banks post-2008, and how AI, litigation funding, and private investment are reshaping
