Beaux lost her mother, grandmother, and aunt to cancers caused by the BRCA1 gene mutation. Two years ago she found out she had it too. Now she's fundraising for her treatment and wants to raise awareness. Beaux Harris 💜 she/her/they joins anita rani & Macmillan's Dany Bell 💙 also on bluesky to discuss 🔽

It's crazy that women can get tested for the BRCA1 gene but if positive, NHS can't offer preventative treatment - basically have to wait for cancer. Unimaginable turmoil - thanks Beaux Harris 💜 she/her/they for sharing story. Pls support her fundraising if you can x
