GM Ryan Poles was asked about the decision he’ll have to make on players like Jaquan Brisker: “there’s real relationships of people that gave it up for the Chicago Bears to advance our organization and they may not be able to stay and that sucks” The harsh reality of the NFL.

The #Bears have granted permission for LB Tremaine Edmunds to seek a trade, according to a league source. He's under contract for the '26 season at $15M. Still young and was Pro Bowl-caliber player thru first 10 games before minor injury. Finished year healthy. Led D in tackles.

Sonny Styles is a LB prospect in the 2026 draft class. He scored an unofficial 10.00 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 1 out of 3215 LB from 1987 to 2026. Splits projected, all times unofficial, agilities left, bench tmrw, but 10.00 RAS watch is officially on!

I'm seeing a lot of mock drafts of Clemson DT Peter Woods going to the Bears. Looked it up and I saw a few of them mention this interesting player comp: Grady Jarrett

ESPN sources: Bears Pro Bowl center Drew Dalman has informed the team that he is retiring from the NFL at age 27. Dalman left Stanford in 2021, and after four seasons in Atlanta and one in Chicago, he has made the sudden and surprising decision to retire.

The bright side - The #Bears are clearing $10 million of cap space in 2026 with Drew Dalman retiring. Dalman had a base salary of $11 million with $9.5 million guaranteed. He forfeits that by retiring now. Chicago is now under the salary cap.

Joe Tusio Well, the bears would be his preferred destination if he got to pick although I don’t know how they’d make the economics work there Dallas offered at the deadline last year
