My concern with this market is the lack of producer selling of futures. Today was a tell tale sign of how futures is a great tool for price protection. Lrp has taken a lot of the sellers out that could have kept a bull market from going too parabolic. That’s the gov involvement.

Overland livestock sale seems to be down 30-60, heifers seem a lot softer, this should bring down day old prices at least 300. Anybody watch this sale?

Why is everyone blaming the Pres, packers, funds or anybody else? It’s cattle market! Been going up and down since the beginning! I think someone once said “watch your top knot” Embrace and profit from it and quit whining! If you want the volatility gone build a chicken house

Thanks to Corbitt Wall for educating us all about “Calf-farms” at the round table discussion in Amarillo tonight. Apparently the mean dairy man that has done more genetically for the industry dunks their calves heads in water to make them drink. Thanks for the knowledge.
