Today is our Research Award Ceremony! We are excited to award $100,000 in seed grant funding to three researchers from our region. Two doctoral candidates will receive the The Pamela Delp Polashenski M.D. Breast Cancer Research Trainee Grant in the amount of $25,000 each.

At today's Research Award Ceremony, we will also be awarding The Sylvia Cappellino Breast Cancer Research Faculty Grant to a local faculty-level researcher in the amount of $50,000! This results in $100,000 in seed grant funding this year that goes toward #breastcancerresearch.

Congratulations to Ajay Dhakal, MD, at Wilmot Cancer Institute, who has been awarded the Sylvia Cappellino Breast Cancer Research Faculty Grant in the amount of $50,000 for “Factors Associated with CNS Recurrence of Primary Triple Negative Breast Cancer.” bccr.org/research/
