Off day? No practice? Go study! Go home and watch baseball. Watch your positions, watch their hitting approach, watch when & what the pitcher throws. Pick up something that will help you. Be a student of the game and improve your baseball IQ.

Want to be successful? Know what you are doing. Love what you are doing. Believe in what you are doing.

Make good use of the on-deck circle! Don't just swing the bat a bunch of times. Study the pitcher & get your timing down. This is the circle of preparation.

Sitting here watching Arkansas, the #1 team in the country. Their hitters have bought into a 2 strike approach. They put great at bats together by choking up and widening out to put the ball in play! They are bought in to doing it for their teammates.
