Nice sunny day yesterday BayesComp 2023. Great to participate to a panel discussion with experts of Bayesian computing and inference. Finally northern lights also in the sky in the evening and not just in the background in the auditorium!

Just presented my research work on Large Deviations for Metropolis Hastings (joint work with Pierre Nyquist, soon on arXiv) at BayesComp 2023. Thanks to the organisers for such a nice conference!

PSA for BayesComp 2023 folks leaving today: Kittilä airport is packed, be there >2h in advance. The main queue is for baggage drop-off. There are machines for self check-in for your bags on the right hand side of the hall. Makes things much faster. Safe journey! 👋
