So much this. It often is not about smarts, but figuring out the gaps, read docs, posts, code and yes asking others! No shame in not knowing, it is simply infeasible to always do. The process helps others get better at discovery and you’ll end up learning from them!

Last day at #KubeConEU coming up. I’m not packed with meetings anymore. If any of my friends out here I didn’t know to be here want to meet up (including strangers, as they are just unknown friends). I’ll be around the Tetrate booth in pavilion 2.

Seriously amazing work and progress being done in Apache SkyWalking. Always with solving real user problems into holistic platform insights as guiding light. Give it a try!

Well balanced and realistic article by Tetrate's Zack Butcher on #AmbientMesh. Do also read the mentioned blog post by Matt Turner around #eBPF for a good overview of what's happening in Istio land and what this means for you. Care about use case matching not marketing hype.

Went to see Neil Cowley live at Bimhuis last sunday, touring his new album Battery Life without having listened to the album before. Unprejudiced and without expectations I was immersed in his beautiful performance. Such a good way to start exploring!

Yep standards are political cloak and dagger games. Typically consumers lose as best option hardly ever gets chosen or is actively removed from being the implicit but proven “standard” as some vendor consortium wants to turn market share their way.

Awesome new release from an awesome community. Just look at the quality and fun bursting from the release notes. A true example of how to do OSS.
