This was 5 hours ago. I don't know if people understand we're watching a world-historical crime play out - not just the worst this century or the worst in decades, but a blot on the human species that will be stand out in history for its sadism and evil.

Vowing to starve a population of 2 million people by blockading food, then starving them for months, then giving the facade of aid because you admit you're forced to by international opinion, then using aid centers daily to massacre civilians seeking food, is a new kind of evil.

It's funny — some college admins & academics use the same deflection when you point out how different groups are treated. In a UM faculty senate meeting, a colleague accused me of “minimizing antisemitism” for stating facts — and only retracted it after others pushed back.
