Back in action at home tonight for a conference DH with Camanche. First pitch game 1 at 5 PM.

Raiders sweep Camanche 11-0 in 5 innings in game 1, and 7-4 in game 2. Solid hitting throughout the night. Jackson Watters with a complete game shutout with 12 Ks. Miken Wheeler comes out of the pen for a 3-inning save in game 2. Raiders sit at 8-4 overall & 6-0 in conference.

Back at home tonight for a JV/V contest with a very strong Cedar Rapids Xavier team. JV at 5, varsity to follow.

For the 3rd consecutive season and 3rd time in program history, we have received a #1 seed for the postseason. We will have a 1st round bye on Saturday, July 5th, and will begin our run at the state tournament and a 3rd consecutive district title at home on Tuesday, July 8th.

Raiders defeat Marquette Catholic 10-8 on senior night. Trace Faille with the win, Carson Vargason with the save. Wheeler, King, & Diers with strong nights at the plate. Watters adds another HR and 4 RBI. Back at it tomorrow night.

Raiders defeat Maquoketa Valley 12-6 on the road and finish the week 4-1 with 3 ranked wins. Miken Wheeler with the win out of the pen, Vince Diers gives us the lead with a 3-run double. Back at it Monday.

Raiders hit the road tonight for our final regular season DH at Cascade. First pitch game 1 at 530 PM.

Raiders defeat Monticello for the 3rd time this season and 5th straight time overall, by a score of 11-1 in 5 innings to advance to our 3rd straight district final. We will look to win our 3rd straight district title on Saturday night at home at 7 PM against Dike-New Hartford.

Anamosa senior Jacob King delivers unbelievable two out game winning two run single in the bottom of the seventh capping a three run inning as the Raiders rally for an incredible 4-3 walk off victory over Dike-New Hartford to claim the program’s third straight 2A district title!!

Raiders plate 3 in the bottom of the 7th to walk it off 4-3 over Dike-New Hartford. Jacob King with the 2-out, 2-run single to win it. Raiders win their 3rd straight district title and will play in Grinnell on Tuesday night with a chance to go to state.

Anamosa’s Jackson Watters, Vince Diers, Carson Vargason and Miken Wheeler all named All-RVC first-team baseball picks while Dane Owen is a second-team selection. Jacob King earns honorable mention status with Watters being named North division Player of the Year.
