The B&NES Council administration wants to raise parking charges in Keynsham to stop people using their cars. This is a bad idea. "The job of a councillor isn't to save the planet but to champion the interests of local people." 🗣️ Cllr Brian Simmons Story 👉 bit.ly/3ByI6w3

Six months after Keynsham High Street was upgraded, the poor road design is still causing injuries. Enough is enough. Today we're calling on the Lib Dems to sort it out once and for all. Full story 👉bit.ly/3rbMVGY 📸: Keynsham's Daniel Condick and Cllr Alan Hale

In October 2019, the current B&NES Council administration promised to plant 100,000 trees by May 2023. To date, almost 64,000 have been planted. That means we need a further 36,000 in just eight months. Hopefully it can be done as it's an easy win for the environment. 🌳🌴🌿

In a nutshell, Graham Pristo has summed up what local politics should be about. Our candidates next May are all local people who wish to help the city and its residents as best they can, and who are alarmed by the Lib Dems’ poor record. #BathNeedsAGraham

"While this renovation project has been necessary to ensure the long-term survival of the bridge, it has been handled appallingly by the Liberal Democrat administration." 🗣️Cllr Vic Pritchard, our group leader, on the Cleveland Bridge fiasco. 👇👇👇 somersetlive.co.uk/news/local-new…

At last night’s B&NES Council Full Council meeting, we were happy to support a motion condemning the recent cuts to bus services across the district. We were clear, however, that the Lib Dem administration needs to do more to hold West of England Mayoral Combined Authority to account. Full text of motion 👇

Local #democracy should be about bringing ALL voices to the conversation - that includes those of #women. We should be encouraging members of the public to become more involved in #localpolitics, not shutting them down. This week, BathNES Liberal Democrats 🔶 let women down abysmally.
