On Wednesday we held our first Cultural Learning Day at MAS! Each class chose a country to explore and then set up activities, games, posters and videos to teach other classes what they learned! The creativity displayed was truly remarkable! Well done, MAS students and staff!

Did you know that the International Day of Families was on May 15? Thanks to our school counsellor, Mrs. LeBlanc, for talking to us about how different and special families are. She even surprised students by having families send in pictures of what their families look like!

June 1 is National Intergenerational Day and our grade 4/5 students were very excited to host their friends from York Care for a BBQ! We participated in a 6 week Intergenerational Program with York Care that was loved by all involved. It was so nice for them to reunite! Anglophone School District West ASD-W

Music Madness! Our friends from Nashwaaksis Memorial came to MAS for special music activities thanks to our music teachers Ms. Simmonds and Mr. Jarvis! They got to play outside on the site of their future NEW school and take part in music activities inside! A fun day!
