I alongside Elliott Payne - Minneapolis Ward 1 & Jason Chavez - Minneapolis Ward 9 authored ordinance change to the Pre-Eviction Notice requirements. It extends the notice period tenants receive before eviction from 14 to 30 days. It passed out of the BHZ committee with a 5-1 vote- with the goal to prevent evictions.

As a senior citizen I especially appreciate the leadership of "my" CM Chowdhury, because - DID YOU KNOW? - The number of older adults at risk of & currently experiencing homelessness increased rapidly in recent years, and is projected to accelerate. #PreventEviction
