Helene is a tragedy but with the ocean as warm as it is it unfortunately will happen again. Now imagine if the government was shut down like 82 Republicans voted for. Imagine if FEMA and NOAA didn't exist like in Trump's Project 2025. We need serious people in politics.

I’ll say it again for the people in the back, President Biden activated emergency aid and services for states impacted by category 4 Hurricane Helene, he didn’t withhold aid from states who didn’t vote for him and he didn’t throw paper towels at hurricane victims.
