Today marks the 20th year of Trans Day of Remembrance and Resilience. While we use this day to honor the lives lost, we also take heart in the resilience of trans, gender non-conforming, and non-binary (TGNC) folks that enliven and lead our communities toward justice and healing.

We are deeply honored to continue to lift up #LayleenCubilettePolanco, an AfroLatinx trans woman who died in solitary confinement at Rikers Island in June, in the Out Magazine #Out100 magazine cover this year.
