Re: #SB1414, we must hold traffickers accountable, because the consequences of child sex trafficking lasts a lifetime. 3 year sentence is an amazing step in the right direction, but saddened #caleg amended Sen. Grove’s proposal. Cant believe it doesn’t apply to 16/17 year olds

I remember the exact moment and where I was. Let us never forget the lives that were lost and the heroic efforts of our first responders.

"The most important thing is that people know how decisions made by unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats and the cost it puts on their everyday lives," Patterson said. Thx Hunter Sowards for covering our attempt to rein in CARB and promote transparency cbsnews.com/sacramento/new…

I'm honored to work with Assemblyman Joe Patterson on AB 292, a bill to help deliver justice for victims of domestic violence. This legislation would classify domestic violence as a “violent felony,” ensuring that the most dangerous offenders are held accountable and remain ineligible for

Proud to join with Assemblyman Juan Alanis for my third attempt to make felony domestic violence to be classified as a “violent felony.” Believe it or not, some of the worst forms of domestic violence are eligible for early release. Our sponsor this year is CSSA
