230ACU Norfolk Island conducted a weekend Bivouac, where they participated in an abseiling activity, off Crystal Pool cliff. This was run by the Norfolk Island Volunteer Rescue Association (VRA) and cadets were given the opportunity to jump 1-3 times. armycadets.gov.au

‘Commitment to a group effort - that’s what makes a team work, a company work, a society work.’ We saw that in ‘spades’ this last week in our Garrison City and Hinchinbrook region. Come what may, the ‘team of teams’ ‘built a bridge and got over it’ - literally and figuratively.

Recently our STEM cadets had the unique opportunity to go behind the scenes and learn about the Defence Force's Weapon Training Simulation System (WTSS). Following this, the cadets visited the University of Newcastle, where they toured active laboratories.
