In January the aquaria and associated equipment used by ARC to head-start northern pool frog tadpoles were moved to Banham Zoo. Here they will be housed in a specially designed captive breeding facility – ready for the first intake of frog spawn from the wild later this year.

ARC's Species on the Edge project officer Liam was joined by staff & students from the University of Glasgow for a day of scrub bashing as part of Student Volunteering Week. The group selectively removed gorse bushes for the benefit of native wildflowers such as the common rock-rose.
