This has been the best summer of my life. I’ve worked hard. I’ve played hard. Reflecting, as today is the last day of my “summer holiday”. 😅 What’s next? September is packed. The fun begins tomorrow. 💪 I just don’t know that X is really the place for me anymore. We’ll see.

Happy Burns Day! 🎉 Later this year, we’ll be publishing a modern day reimagining of ‘Tam o’ Shanter’ by Robert Burns. ‘Mat o’ Shanter: A Cautionary Tale’ by Carnegie-nominated author Simon Lamb, & illustrations by Scottish muralist Ross MacRae, publishes on 25 September.

This might be the closest to famous I’ve ever felt. 😅

First school visit in ages (due to a health episode that was a whole thing) and I couldn’t have been smiling wider by the end of it. We’re so back.
