Mrs. Bucholz's ecology class took a trip last week to Dumont Pond. The Conservation officer from Butler County showed us how to identify pond invertebrates to check the pollution level. She even taught us kayak safety and let us loose to explore the pond.

Mrs. Bucholz's ecology crew hit up Big Marsh! They rolled up their sleeves and built some False Beaver Dams with the Wildlife managers to boost the wetlands. These structures will lure beavers to move in and help divert water into the area. The students were awesome!
