We firmly agree with Dr. Mezrich in STAT that organs “are just too precious to go to waste.” Strong collaboration between OPOs and transplant centers is needed to tackle organ non-utilization. 20%+ of organs recovered by OPOs go unused. Read more at statnews.com/2024/03/02/don…
