If 5% of US Apple users disabled iCloud Photos in the next week, Apple would probably reconsider their plans to enable client side scanning. I wonder what that would take.

FYI Apple Having a member of your staff referring to privacy-concerned users of your products as the ‘screeching minority’ is unbecoming for a company of Apples stature.

So now that Apple has seemingly done a 180 on #privacy how does any iPhone running iOS 15 now offer any better privacy than a high-end Android?

Apple's new iPhone contraband-scanning system is now a national security issue. They just openly admitted they have no answer for what to do when China comes knocking. Hard to understate how disastrous this new system is for iPhone security. Tim Cook needs to intervene.
