“...managers concerned women’s reforms are moving too quickly.” 🤣 The UCI’s been around for 118 years. Women will finally receive a base salary in 2020. This equality thing too quick for you? Too many old school, antiquated managers. Stop whining, guys. #StepUp & do your job.

BIG TRADE: I swapped my WFSB Channel 3 jacket with 6 o’clock news producer @micheleschuelke for this awesome vintage 1982-83 Hartford Whalers Buick team picture! Cue the Brass Bonanza. Hartford Whalers The Whaler Guys

What a gut punch for historians. My discipline, the field I trained in, has had a nearly 35% decline in majors since I started my dissertation. I am very fortunate to have a job, but the profession itself is on life support. American Historical Association Ben Schmidt / @[email protected] historians.org/publications-a…

I get that tracking monthly spending is important but when it's Coffee: $75 Childcare: $3095 it is hard to feel that coffee is the problem

Today my heart has broken into pieces. Like a father and a best friend. Cycling will never be the same. May the road be flat, the sun on your face and the wind in your back. May the African sunrise be the thing you will see forever RIP Dad2 #paulsherwen #dad2 #cycling 💔

Like everyone who knew Paul Sherwen I'm totally shocked by today's tragic news. I first met Paul on a training ride in Cheshire in the mid-70s before he turned pro; he always had a smile, insightful comments & stories to share. So long, friend. A true gent.

Interesting pre-1920s genre: staging a track crash for the camera. A lot of physical effort went into making these mock-ups.

Yeah, puppies are cute, but have you ever seen a senior dog with an all grey face, and grey lashes, and so much patience? Nothing compares.

I love pretending to be cool like my college students. (They are cool... I'm pretending). They've recently taught me "dunk on." I'm about to dunk on these cinnamon rolls! I'm about to dunk on this guy with 28 items in the express lane. It's flexible. I like it.

Should relocated franchises allow current players to wear the retired numbers of former players who competed in the previous city?Jack Edwards has some strong thoughts on this specific case and I agree with him. Sport Heritage Uni Watch
