Nine years ago I lost my job after a robbery ruined the shop I worked for. Friday I bought my 997.1 GT3. Proud doesn't even come close to what I'm feeling.

Went to the garage to grab a beer, had to stop and stare. It still hasn't sunk in that this is mine. It's the most incredible object I've ever owned, the best car I'm likely to drive and my proudest material achievement. It may not last forever but I'll savour every moment.
