Yesterday, Hamilton County Schools HS Teams investigated Instructional Routines w/@brownheathera. We spend lots of time establishing classroom transition/behavioral routines, yet often overlook cultivating thinking routines that build S Agency & confidence in tackling difficult problems.

Our cross-content Instructional Routines session is live. We focus on building classroom management routines, but often ignore cultivating thinking routines Ss need to tackle complex texts & tasks independently. Notice & Wonder, Identify & Interpret (I2), First Read, & more!
