Watching G.C.S.E. Results got me thinking. 30 years ago today, I failed every exam. Was told I would never achieve anything. I worked hard, did my dream job, but more importantly 10 years after retirement, I’m happy. Not rich, not famous, just happy. Today doesn’t define you.

It's fair to say we were excited for our fist trip in ages this week! Y8 had a phenomenal time at Shakespeare’s Globe for a backstage tour and performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Staff voted for their favourite Christmas card design from a very impressive standard of entries. Jack's design was awarded first place and was made into cards which are available from school reception. Erirn and Aiden were runners up..Well done for their artistic efforts.

Year 10 footballers are area cup champions!!

Year 9 explored good, bad, and ugly Oracy behaviour in today's lesson which culminated in a group task of building the tallest, free-standing tower using four sheets of newspaper and one table length of sticky tape. The winning group received chocolate. 👀👏🍫 Ansford Academy
