Every city or town ought to be able to require all-electric new construction. New buildings will last much past 2050, at which state law says we must be net zero ⬇️

(2of3) Boston failing to apply to the fossil fuel free pilot program badly undermines the overall effort to get fossil fuels out of buildings — this decision harms our kids, our communities (esp low-income), and makes no sense economically (b/c it’s cheaper to build electric).

(3of3) We have high hopes for our GND Mayor to stand up to powerful vested interests (real estate) that are effective spreaders of misinformation, and demonstrate bold leadership to ensure a viable future for our all of our children. So, Mayor Michelle Wu 吳弭 - what’s your plan now?
