We are pleased to be present at a Royal Society Science+ Meeting on the evolution and impact of hybrid schistosomes in Africa. Our editor-in-chief Russell Stothard gave a fascinating introduction to the topic this morning.


Thanks to The Royal Society for hosting a 2-day meeting on hybrid schistosomes in Africa. Grateful for the chance to present surprising cases from Malawi where zoonotic and hybrid species were highly abundant in stool. Controlling zoonotic transmission - a huge hurdle for elimination
