This whole ‘the rioters have legitimate concerns’ rhetoric we are hearing is nonsense. Even if they did have concerns they forfeit the right to be heard by rioting. A 25 yr old looting from shops, throwing bricks at mosques and attacking police isn’t doing for political change.

Relieved to hear there has been little unrest in our towns and cities this evening. Joyous to see that anti-racist and anti-fascist protesters outnumbered rioters hundreds to one. Note that the anti-fascist protesters didn’t smash up a single thing…

Scam call this morning: ‘Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs demands you to pay…’ Her? Darlings, at least get the Monarch right if you’re going to try and scam me.

Anger from whom? Anyone who knows anything about reoffending knows that a stable house, followed by stable employment and family/friends support, are the key elements to prevent reoffending.

I’m a governor of a school which was deemed RI, but that wasn’t the whole picture. Teaching is good, safeguarding good and learning environment good - but all parents see is ‘requires improvement.’ This is a positive step and will give parents a much clearer picture of schools.
