CPD often misses the spot when deliverers forget their are talking to knowledgeable adults.

Don’t be afraid of instructivism, especially in primary. I spent too long being told during my training being talk to dress up as a dragon to teach phonics. s=s, no costume is needed.

Teaching: good relationships, clear objectives, retrieval, chunked information, modeling, value talk but allow time to think first, be flexible, clear expectations and routines whilst including all. That’s the formula!
