Feels like soup season is upon us so I’m whipping up a chicken miso for supper tomorrow. Hard to believe this is 3L of broth. I think I may have overdone it with the stock pot sizing 😂

One plus about the colder weather is that our 3 season room becomes a nice walk in refrigerator ❄️🍜

With the colder weather I’ve been switching up my training to focus more on strength than endurance. Today is the first day, since I did squats on Monday, that I can walk normally I hate getting old 👴🏋️

I once went on a cable purge while we were clearing out the basement one fall. Chucked a bunch of random chargers that I had no idea what they were for. Fast forward to December and I’m setting up my Wahoo trainer for indoor biking and I can’t find my power supply 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Hats off to whoever was posting about short rib grilled cheese the other week. Decided to take a crack at that today, and the kitchen currently smells amazing :) Probably would be even better if the ribs were smoked, but its -29C here this morning 😂

I don’t post much on here anymore (still lurking though!) but pretty proud of how this year’s training has gone so I thought I’d share. Big 3RM PR on deadlift today, 150kg / 331lbs. Been trying to hit 150s beyond a 1RM for years now, but always just eluded me. Not today!
