That's a lot of eyes on Coastal Carolina Baseball and on a team where LSU dwarfs the money on the CCU roster. Hopefully, it's a clear message. while NIL is nice, attending a mid-major school that will develop you is also valuable. Thorndyke went from Community College to an MCWS squad.

Well, the portal takes and gives. TBH, I thought losing Doyle last year would set the CCU pen back, but it didn't. McKay was a looker early in the season to sneak into the rotation.
