AF&R along with OCFA, OCFD, Cal Fire, and USFS are currently on the scene of Coal Fire. Forward progress stopped. Held to 3 acres, located east of the 241 fwy. south of the 91 fwy. Personnel on scene mopping up throughout the afternoon. There is no threat to structures

Today, just after noon, AF&R personnel responded Santa Ana Canyon Rd. & Gypsum Canyon Rd. for a veg. fire. AF&R was assisted by OCFA & Cal Fire personnel. Fire was held to less than a quarter acre, and fwd progress was stopped in less than 15 min. No structures were threatened.

AF&R responded to 4-alarm fire on 1210 S State College Blvd. The fire spread to neighboring businesses, there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation. State College Blvd, south of Ball Rd, will remain closed for several hours."
