There has been a lot of focus on the District’s budget due to an effort in Congress to force the District to cut 1 billion dollars in spending 6 months into the fiscal year. Budgets can be complicated, so to combat confusion I’d like to introduce “The District Budget, 101 pt 1”.

Part 2 of “The District Budget, 101” focuses on the impacts of the continuing resolution that would require the District of Columbia to cut 1$ billion dollars from its current fiscal budget. These impacts are real and would be devastating to the District.
