This week is about the #SocialRights WG, led by @libera_annclm Many #problems still exist in the EU regarding #women and the most #vulnerable #social groups, and no #MemberState has achieved full #GenderEquality: the process is slow and often reversible. #thefutureisyours #CoFoE

The action plan developed by the #SocialRight WG consisted of an #OnlineSurvey, #InternalMeetings of about 15 people opened to #CSOs and #activists around Europe linked to the #CHANCE #network, and a #FinalEvent to present the WG’s #results. #actionplan #thefutureisyours #CoFoE

The need of implementing two #strategies for #GenderEquality emerged from the #OnlineSurvey: raising awareness on EU #projects or #policy #initiatives, and having the #CSOs use their #platforms to improve the #EuropeanStrategyonGenderEquality. #results #thefutureisyours #CoFoE

The #OnlineDialogue consisted of a series of online #meetings internal to the Working Group and open to #CSOs and #activists linked to the #CHANCE network. The #survey #results were analysed and the #toolkit was created. #SocialRights #engagement #thefutureisyours #CoFoE

The SR WG developed several #suggestions aimed at giving European #Institutions a stronger pivotal role in the #SocialRights topic, at enhancing their #protection, and at improving #GenderEquality in the EU by involving #CSOs. #SocialRights #suggestions #thefutureisyours #CoFoE
