I was lucky enough to see Matthew Heineman’s The First Wave at LFF, and while it was of course heartbreaking, I was definitely left with the sense of inspiration he describes here. Especially poignant having been in NYC during those months, but globally relatable. Seek it out!

The reason I hired an assistant for the studio headshots this week isn't just that I need the help, it's because I was afraid. It was mainly men who booked in for shots,men who found me on twitter. Now I'm sure each person is going to be lovely & sound, but there's ALWAYS a risk.

If you're asking what you can do, you can learn to understand that violence is a spectrum, and the jokes, victim blaming, and dismissals uphold more extreme forms of violence. Educate yourself, your friends, and put words into action

I keep bringing up this thread as I prep my short film Home Safe. It’s invaluable hearing Endeavour’s unique perspective and those in the replies. The ‘fearful’ and the ‘feared’ - such incredible insight.

I never thought I'd say this, but the world needs more clowns. Here are some highlights of what I shot with the @dreamdoctorsil as Ukrainian refugees crossed the border into Moldova.

This whole letter is beautiful, but this bit particularly got me: "If our script was a prayer, then our movie was a miracle, and the hands doing God's work belonged to the film crew/family we had slowly collected over the course of our careers..." Cannot wait to see this film.

Holy moly. Locked Down, our little pandemic movie, has been nominated for Best Feature Film at the #NationalFilmAwardsUK! Thrilled to get this recognition for our incredible team - it really was a dream project from start to finish.

Again my heart breaks. For the kids who have to live with this fear. And for the teachers forced to make these impossible decisions. It’s unimaginable, and makes me want to scream.

I had the great pleasure of seeing lovely Amy Rice's fantastic documentary #BroadwayRising at Tribeca 2022 - a testament to the resilience of Broadway and NYC.

A nice thing happened today. Thank you BAFTA for the recognition - it really means a lot.
