The Fargo Police Chief Selection Committee has unanimously voted to recommend David Zibolski as its preferred candidate to be the next Fargo Police Chief. This recommendation will now be brought forward to the Fargo City Commission for consideration at its Mon., Aug. 24 meeting.

Today, nearly 100 soldiers are available and supporting missions. Soldiers are assisting local law enforcement to ensure the safety of local residents and preserving property. Another 300 soldiers from the Montevideo-based 1-151 Field Artillery-Thunder are being activated today.

We also honor the memory of Officer Cody Holte, a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead, a 1st Lieutenant in the ND National Guard, a lifelong #MNTwins fan & a member of the Grand Forks Police Department, who was shot & killed while responding to a call on May 29.
