Thanks to UCD College of Health & Agricultural Science for celebrating #WorldAnimalDay! Ireland's 1st law on #AnimalWelfare dates back to 1635 - it focused on 'barbarous' acts eg attaching the plough to a horse's tail and pulling wool from live sheep 😱 In 2021 University College Dublin became a partner in EURCAW Ruminants & Equines
