Hex is the best BI tool out there imo. analysis to shareable dashboards quickly and cheaply. Great AI assistant. Is anyone using something better?

i wish ai chats had a rewind button where you can back up if you make a bad prompt or get on a tangent. just telling the agent to back up doesn't work well for me, then you have start all the way over. Even if i ask it to summarize the convo to that point for my next chat.

life is a lot less expensive if you learn to do things on your own. Cooking, painting, housework, yard work, etc. When easy tasks are now running $100/hr, the opportunity cost vs working isn't so bad. Not to mention you will always take more care and do a better job

i find that dictating to llms allows me to get way more context vs typing. i dont overthink or lose focus as much. by the time im done, i have a really long prompt with a bunch of examples. Leads to better responses

Ya know what really grinds my gears? When someone designs a date picker and the little calendar jumps around when you click the next month button so that you can't click it a bunch of times really fast.

i have now deployed two apps using replit in the past few months. One is a dynamic retention app that orchestrates an a/b test applying discounts to active subscriptions. The other is a bulk discount generator that enables our team to create discount sets and add discounts.

chatgpt in the car is one of my favorite new habits. instead of only podcasts, I will stop the podcast and learn more about something mentioned that I find interesting. Someone should build a wrapper that makes this easier

Claude is getting worse. The usage restrictions are getting to the point where you can only do a few chats a day. Anything code related seems to exhaust your usage credits after just a few back and forths. Even if the output is better, the experience starting to stink
