Density is a means to an end. There's nothing inherently more desirable about a home being smaller. Mostly ... you have to value what the smaller homes are close to. Which makes them *great* in a high trust environment. But worse in low trust one

I believe the source of European backwardness on AC is obvious. Temperatures measured in Celsius do not have an intuitive scale w/r/t human comfort and the range of difference is very small, whereas temperature in Fahrenheit are very obviously Too Hot when it's Too Hot. You
