Foot strike is a delicate balance. Importance is placed on landing w/ enough plantarflexion to take advantage of the elasticity of the legs/feet. Too "toey"=Wasting time moving to a stable position. Not enough=heel slamming, no bounce Heel will/should kiss but not crash.
