Our estimates suggest that adult flying aquatic dipterans can be attracted to street lamps from ca. 2 km away. Also, in waterbodies illuminated by street lamps the amount of dipterans that emerged was two-fold lower than in waterbodies not exposed. link.springer.com/article/10.100…
