The Institut Pasteur, since 1887 ran a successful outbreaks research ethics workshop early November, for 16 of our ALERRT colleagues. On completion of the workshop, the participants had a better understanding of the expectations of an ethics committee with regards to their research protocols

As part of the 'Building strong networks for disease surveillance, epidemic response and clinical research session at the #EDCTPForum, Dr Anani Badjé gave an introduction of the ALERRT consortium and the FISSA study, a great example of research partnership amongst our network.

The ALERRT team united until the end of the grant, recently starting a new SeroMarv Africa study in Cameroon, Guinea and Uganda. The team made the most of the #EDCTPForum to meet and discuss the next steps of the study
