Going to Lubbock this weekend to compete at Texas Tech. Coming off a PR at Carl Lewis Invitational 56’3. My Sophomore year ended with a discus PR of 163’2 In Shot Put I PR’d at 55’2 to advance me to the State meet where I threw a 54’11. Junior Season is off to a good start!

Junior Brandon Schirck breaks his own school record a month after breaking the 20 year old school record. This time finishing 3rd with a throw of 62'3.75", in a stacked Texas Relays field.

Strong first day at the 18-5A Track & Field District Championship at Angleton. Through the field events and 3200 the guys hold a slight lead over 2nd place Angleton and 3rd Place Manvel. The Mustangs look to open the lead up Thursday with the running finals scheduled at 5:00pm.

Albert Orta smashes 19 year Friendswood School Record on his way to another Area Championship in the discus with a throw of 189'01".

Finished a strong day of Area Meet competition with with two more Regional qualifiers. Zade Kayyali claimed an Area Championship for a second time on the day. This time in the 1600m. Seth Thompson also qualified for his 2nd spot at the Regional meet, finishing 3rd in the 1600m.
