It is unfortunate that the caracal animal is not from the Karaikal province in India. Wouldnt it be lovely if they were?

Few people know that the Hindu god Yama and the root vegetable Yam share the same root. Yama because he was a twin born with Yami. Yam because it is a twin to potato. We rarely give credit to Indian culture's contribution to the rest of the world.

Buddha was right & everything but not keeping up with the times. My new theory is thinking is the root cause of all evil & unhappiness. Once we stop thinking, (or overthinking), the world will be a sunny, happy place again.

Love Lalmohan babu and his childlike curiosity about everything. Including word roots. Does the word mysterious have anything to do with mist? What a joyful thought.

The traditional Indian playing cards are called Ganjifa. They have miniature art & vishnu avatar drawn on it etc. But the only thing stuck in my mind is Ganjifa sounds like a very fashionable lady who consumes ganja.

Deva Nartana at Bangalore International Centre of 4 dance forms showing the 10 avatars was spectacular. So beautiful, such a nice comparison of how each style depicts things. I even was able to recognise which avatar for most of them, learnt about the remaining right after. :)

My parents have successfully managed to chase me out of twitter with their own tweeting. Imagine I was not triggered by all the rabidity here but it was their tweeting that finally made me limit it drastically. Highly recommend - get your parents on the SM you want to quit.

I just want calm days. I keep saying that to myself, that I will be calm, that things will get better. But at some point you start to realise those are just words. Vacuous. It's very sobering.

How do some books still in copyright have so many pages for preview on Google books. E.g., this book I was looking for was 268 pages long & had 90 pages for preview. How does this work? Do authors/publishers give permission?

I actually feel it's preferable that I have fever now, which means I can stop thinking & rest & it is forced upon me. Definitely was a long time coming. Stress hits the body. Delayed but hits it for sure.

Other women out there spraying perfume behind their ears as they get on about their day. I'm, on the other hand, spraying volini behind my ears & neck in a hail Mary effort to reduce the pain all over my body.
