The Akron varsity field hockey team is on their way to the NYSPHSAA Field Hockey State Championships. The drum corps helped lead them in a parade around the school to send them off in style. The game will be against Whitney Point on Saturday, November 15th at 1:00 PM. Go Tigers!

Congratulations to four exceptional Akron High School musicians who participated in the NYS School Music Association's 2025 Senior High Festival at SUNY Fredonia this past weekend. They earned their invitation to the festival from their top scores at the NYSSMA Solo Competition!
