🚒🚓Aiken Public Safety members responded to a structure fire on Wyman St. The fire was quickly controlled but caused damage to the interior of the residence. Fortunately, there were no injuries.👨‍🚒

👩‍🚒Aiken Public Safety responded to a working commercial structure fire on Summerwood Way at approximately 5:15 AM. There were no injuries. The building was significantly damaged and will be closed for business. The origin of the fire is still under investigation.🚒🚓

👮‍♀️Members of Aiken Public Safety are receiving instruction on low angle rescue techniques. The techniques are crucial in situations like this, where rescuers need to safely extract someone from a vehicle at the bottom of a steep embankment. 👨‍🚒

The Aiken Public Safety Citizen's Academy Class of 2025 celebrated their completion with a banquet and certificate after 9 weeks of learning about ADPS operations. Highlights of the course included pursuit driving, communications, fire investigations, and a scenario simulator.
