We had so much fun seeing "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at Chicago Shakespeare today! What a funny and brilliant production to kick off our unit on England's Golden Age and the play itself. ๐Ÿ’• "What fools these mortals be!" Thanks to the families for making it happen.

One of my favorite activities in our Shakespeare unit is from my PD at the Chicago Shakes many moons ago - Thank you, Bill!! We break down a piece of the script using ALL the small details - full stops, ecophonesis o, antithesis, etc. to understand the vibes& emotions. Enjoy!

Whoa! It's not every day a police car takes your students to school! Ben, a very cool Roadrunner, won the ride in a coloring contest! What a way to start the day.
