Before we jump into granting emergency powers to the President, what are the things that the chief executive cant do w/ d already vast powers granted to him by d Constitution&other laws? This is really a question of what this govt is not doing w/ d already available powers it has

Serious. Ang mga recent pasaway: Sen. Koko Pimentel Cong. Eric Yap

If our Olympic gold medalist herself mentions in her post-win interview that she went through a lot to have this victory, including being unnecessarily listed in a government dissident matrix, we point that out. Loud and clear. (1/2)

We remind people and demand reform. So that no government ever will push its Olympian against the wall and instead support her or him to win the gold. That’s the political lesson of this story. (2/2)

You’ve got to give it to the political savvy of Biden announcing his lack of intention to clinch the DNC’s nomination and endorsing Kamala, a week after the RNC’s convention. So all the rants against Biden were for naught.

The RNC is currently framing a legal challenge to the sudden “replacement”, when there is no Democratic nominee yet until mid August. The framing of the campaign completely changed. And the Gen Zs, with their chunky vote share, seem to have been more interested in the polls.
