On Thursday our lab member Ago Tominga discussed on challenges of implementing new technological innovations and how to overcame them to support disaster management. BuildERS event in Finland considered how to transfer research into practice to improve #resilience to crises

Smart and inspiring PhD researchers🤩 gathered in Palamuse historic parish school and later in Tartu for a 2-d PhD course at the #mobiletartu conference. The course focused on mobile big data, related methods, empiric studies and use cases in both the public and private sectors.

#MobileTartu has moved on to parallel sessions and our very own Siiri Silm and Ago Tominga together with Age Poom 💙💛 and Tiit Tammaru are presenting the first results from a study using #GPS data from #MobilityLog application to uncover the inequalities in #Tallinn, #Estonia.

I had pleasure of participating in the workshop 'Making the most of mobile phone data to map migration' in Istanbul, which is part of the project HumMingBird Project. I presented our latest study on Ukrainian refugees in Estonia. Thank you co-authors Ago Tominga and Tiit Tammaru.
